WARNING: Adult Content Ahead If you have not read Fertility Futility: Part 1 yet, I recommend doing so before reading this post. Shame is all I felt. I held an empty specimen cup in my hand as I explained to a nurse that there were no specimen provided. This was terrible. I had never failed... Continue Reading →

Fertility Futility: Part 1

For some people, getting pregnant is indeed the proverbial walk in the park (in fact, many pregnancies start with walks in parks that lead to quickies under gazebos). Other folks, however, like my wife and I, find getting pregnant incredibly difficult. I should probably clarify that. The Future is Coming

I began working on my Master of Arts in Communication this week. One of the “readings” for this week was actually a video of Pranav Mistry’s TED Talk in which he shows off his SixthSense technology. The video is below and you have to check it out. The concept is so simple, but the implications... Continue Reading →

Open Letter to the Hateful _____________

You probably saw the story flying around the internet about a family that received a horrible letter suggesting that they euthanize their autistic son.  If you missed it, click HERE to see it. U.S.S. Marvin Anderson

I'm taking a break from my Half the Man I Used to Be series  Things are still going great with my weight-loss, but variety is the spice of life, right? I was talking with a friend a couple of weeks ago and we were lamenting how slow change takes within large organizations.  He made... Continue Reading →
